The three parties
Your retailer owns the meter arrangement. A metering coordinator manages the equipment on the retailer's behalf. A Level 2 ASP does the install. When people say "my retailer is sending someone", the someone is a Level 2.
When you deal with the retailer versus us
- Retailer-driven replacement (old meter being retired): the retailer books it and it is free to you. You may get to choose a time window.
- You need a new meter for solar, an EV charger or three-phase: you can go through your retailer, or book us directly and we coordinate the metering request. Direct is usually faster.
- Your meter panel is non-compliant: the retailer's installer will not proceed until it is fixed. That is a separate job, and it is ours. Doing panel and meter in one visit is the shortest path.
Time and cost
